Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade, making each piece uniquely yours.
Our leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Meticulously sourced from the finest hides, this premium material boasts unique textures and character, showcasing nature's artistry at its best. As time passes, watch as its surface develops a unique patina, telling your personal journey through the years. Unlike processed leathers, full grain leather stands the test of time, due to its unmatched strength and resilience. Its dense fibers offer exceptional resistance to wear, cuts, and moisture, our full grain leather ensures lasting beauty that only gets better with age.
Top Grain: Top-grain starts from the same premium zone of the hide but is lightly sanded and finished for a more uniform surface. That light correction softens and evens the face while keeping most of the strength you want. Takes pigment and protective finishes beautifully, which helps with colorfastness and stain resistance. Ages gracefully, especially when we keep the finish thin enough to let the leather breathe and break in.
We use top-grain when a smoother cosmetic is the goal—think color consistency across large panels—without walking away from the core strength you expect from a Portland bag.
Pebbled: Unlike most brands that use artificial stamping methods to create patterns, our pebbled leather is achieved through a natural tumbling process. The distinctive raised, pebble-shaped texture adds sophistication and makes a bold statement wherever you go. But it's not just about looks—pebbled leather is built to last. Worried about daily wear and tear? Don’t be! The unique pebbled surface ages gracefully, developing a natural patina that will evolve for years to come!
Suede: Our suede leather begins with an intricate process: the hide is split to separate the soft underside from the top layer. This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Naturally slouchy and pliable, suede leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that tells its own story over time. Most natural imperfections are gently smoothed away during production, while subtle traces—like healed veining and the soft, napped surface—are preserved to celebrate the leather’s unique character and charm.
Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

Adorable! 🥠
by: Paula
I purchased the fortune cookie pouch because I thought it was just the cutest thing ever and had to have it in honey because it looked most like a fortune cookie. Once it arrives I realized how useful it was based on how it opened and the size of the zipper. Currently using the honey for cough drops and another in shadow black for ginger chews. I would buy more if they restock some fun colors. Love them!
Dragon Bone Fortune Cookie

I haven’t quite found a use for this little cutie yet, but it is definitely a fun way to see a new leather in person (and potentially win a gift card, apparently!). I have seen a tutorial showing how to cut the rivet that forms the fortune cookie shape and turn it into a cute little flat pouch, which honestly looks more useful (less bulky) to me… I may try that at some point, or I may keep it as is and use it to carry items I only need with me temporarily, like cough drops or something. In the meantime, it is adorable!
My fortune is lime!

I meant to buy the keychain version but no big deal, I just slipped an extra ring through the hole in the zipper head and problem solved! I love this gorgeous lime suede addition, the texture and color is fantastic!
SO Adorable!

The PLG Fortune Cookie Pouch was the first item I had to have upon discovering PLG. So clever and so cute! Hava and Cowboy Mint are the latest in my collection!
Novelty and Functional
by: Rebecca G.
Super cute! I had to get champagne because it was most "fortune cookie" realistic-like. My Samsung Barbuda in their case fit perfectly with some room for other things.
Cute and practical

I got this pouch hoping it would fit my set of D&D dice, and wouldn’t you know it, it fits a standard set and them some!
Fun in theory
by: Jen S.
I’ve been wanting to get a fortune cookie for a while and finally settled on a premium Cosmo. I know it’s a slouchy leather, but I still thought it would have the shape of the fortune cookie pics online. In the end, it felt like the shape was off, so I’m returning. I wanted to love this, but I don’t.
Cute!

I have the Clementine and Mint Fortune Cookies. They are unique and adorable! Not to mention useful for travel size lipsticks. Please make more in a lot of colors. Thank you so much!!!
Bigger than expected and so fun!
by: DREAM W.
Purchased one in Sunflower and I love it. The pouch is bigger than I thought which is great because that means it can fit more stuff than I expected. And the little fortune is awesome!
A Favorite Little
by: Toni G.
I adore the Fortune Cookie Pouch. I have three and will most likely get more. I am European, living in the USA, and the pouch is perfect for holding my coins - one for US, one for EU, one for my native country. It’s easy to reach for the right change pouch when I travel because they are all different colors. They are also absolutely adorable. The cutest little pouches!

Cute pouch
Cute keychains. Not sure what to use them for other than flair. Love how they add a touch of cuteness to my purses.
Sienna is pebbly, wrinkly goodness! I decided on the pouch without the clasp and sometimes I just use it as a fidget. lol
The fortune cookie pouch in Moonrock is simply sparkly goodness. I love it.
